Long time no see!
I’ve taken a break from blogging for a while to keep up with uni work and life! I’m back now and I have a lot of posts planned that I hope you will enjoy!
For Christmas I was lucky enough to be given a pot of Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream. I’m constantly hearing people talk about this cream and I always see bloggers using it so I was pretty excited to try it out.
Charlotte Tilbury is a hugely popular brand that lots of people swear by and Charlotte herself also seems to be a lot of fun!
The brand is completely cruelty free which is what drew me to it in the first place as it is super important to be aware of this.
Magic cream comes in the most beautiful pale pink and rose gold packaging that opens up like a flower. This makes it feel extra special when you open it up and really shows the quality of the product!
Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream is said to be a skin saviour that Charlotte began mixing herself at home to combat dull and tired skin. Magic Cream uses both oils and active ingredients to keep your skin hydrated for up to 24 hours! Its magic ingredients reduce wrinkles whilst keeping you moisturised. It sounds like a skin miracle!
I usually use my magic cream before bed as it is a fairly heavy and thick moisturiser so it needs time to sink in. As it is so thick a little goes a long way so I only use a pea sized amount and I massage it thoroughly into my skin in an upwards motion to help with facial definition. I was a bit skeptical about the hype around this moisturiser but immediately after using it my skin feels unbelievably soft! The cream also gives your skin a slight warming sensation which could be the ingredients working their magic! Although it is heavy in consistency it doesn’t cause any breaks outs on my face and doesn’t leave it feeling sticky!
Overall this is a really good moisturiser for all skin types but I would especially recommend it for dry skin as it is so intense.
The one issue I have with this product is the price! One small pot is £70 which is unaffordable for a lot of people. Hopefully it will last me a long time and work miracles on my skin!
Since Charlotte started making it in her kitchen maybe I will try to DIY my own moisturiser for a future post!
If you have any thoughts on this product please let me know!
This post has been short and sweet but I promise there’s a lot more to come soon
